摘要: Two disjunct distributional areas of Crotalus durissus(Neotropical rattlesnake) are in open habitats north and south the Amazon Basin presently separated by humid rainforest habitats. We used ecological niche modeling to identify investigate potential dispersal pathways for this species between two during late Pleistocene. Niches estimated populations did not differ significantly. Our analyses indicated possible, but a single most likely, routes last glacial cycle. These results important understanding history forest biotas, as they suggest agents isolation among putative refugia form dry scrub, associated biotas.
