摘要: Mice of the BALB/c strain were bilaterally implanted in lateral hypothalamus (LH) order to study influence post-trial LH stimulation on learning and memory. In first experiment, task was food-reinforced operant conditioning. Thirty seconds after a 15-min session, experimental groups received bilateral discontinuous for 80 sec. Five current intensities used: 0, 2, 4, 8, 20 μA. Testing carried out 24 hr later. Compared 0-μA group performance, results showed an impairment 2-μA improvement three other groups. second self-stimulation thresholds individually determined. An energizing effect behavior observed 4-μA intensity threshold values ranged from 6 9 third experiment effects sec tested using switch on-switch off paradigm. Then, induced aversive reaction stimulated animals, whereas no such at 4 μA intensity; only appetitive reactions higher intensities. These data indicate possible relationship (i) between properties hypothalamic 24-hr delayed (ii) retention facilitation.
