摘要: It is important to assess the suitability of sentinel sites for human disease; however, there have been few publications documenting process formal evaluation. We describe an approach examining representativeness a single site employed campylobacteriosis surveillance and source attribution, utilizing selection data sources statistical comparisons demographic, epidemiological pathogen genotyping across selected regions New Zealand. Our findings showed that while this region captured national variability in many variables, example by containing sizable urban rural populations, relative frequency these features did vary from other discuss value choosing represents distribution key compared captures broad wider population, but provides greater power monitoring sub-populations.
