摘要: Abstract Background Auditory verbal hallucinations are a characteristic symptom in schizophrenia. Recent causal models of auditory propose that cognitive mechanisms involving working memory involved the genesis hallucinations. Thus, present study, we investigate hypothesis is specific factor behind Methods In investigated association between manipulation (Backward Digit Span and Letter–Number Sequencing) population study (N = 52) first episode psychosis. The degree hallucination as reported P3-subscale PANSS interview was included dependent variable using sequential multiple regression, while controlling for age, psychosis severity, executive functions simple span. Results Multiple regression analyses revealed to be only significant predictor severity. Conclusions Consistent with data from healthy individuals, results suggest hallucinations, processes phonological representations during task.
