摘要: Abstract Psychotic disorders are characterized by auditory verbal hallucinations (AVHs), and research has shown that AVHs linked to deficits in working memory. Our understanding of across the psychosis continuum is limited. To date, little tested whether hallucination proneness (HP) with abnormalities on experimental multispeaker babble tasks. Few investigations have been conducted determine how task performance might be cognitive functioning. The objective current study better understand this empirical gap. A total 70 adults (30 healthy controls 40 HP individuals) were administered an which they listened instructed report any words or chains consecutive (CCWs) perceived. Participants also nonverbal memory Findings revealed relative control group, individuals perceived more longer CCWs during task. While there no significant differences tasks between groups, CCW's associated decreased scores group. AVH may occur a other theoretically relevant vulnerability factors.
