摘要: DNA is expected to play a critical role in biomolecular nanotechnology because nucleic acids offer range of desirable properties for nanometer scale manipulations. We report here thorough characterization and optimization conditions alignment well extended single- double-stranded molecules on mica surfaces. The optimum poly-L-lysine concentration surface treatment experiments 0.5–2 ppm. best aligned, the greatest density observed center path traversed by solution droplet during deposition. procedure induces only small amount fragmentation deposited molecules. Knowledge acid surfaces should facilitate use based nanotechnology.
