Excitons and Photoconductivity in Transition-Metal Dichalcogenides

摘要: The photoelectrical properties of several transition-metal dichalcogenides, principally MoS2, MoSe2, and MoTe2 have been measured compared with the optical absorption spectra. Both hexagonal rhombohedral polytypes MoS2 were investigated. regular structure near edge in photoconductivity has interpreted by means an exciton-phonon ionization model, which accounts for displacement temperature dependence peak positions MoS2.
