摘要: Abstract The exciton fine structure of the fundamental absorption edge in semiconductor crystals was examined. It observed that substances having such a are fairly strong photo-conductors. This fact leads to conclusion there is correlation between lines and shape photoconductivity curve. Crystals with well-known structures (CdS, Cu 2 O, HgI , PbI GaSe) were chosen for investigation. A spectral curves photoconductivity, corresponding lines, discovered all investigated at low temperatures. Its properties CdS single crystal studied detail. turned out either maxima (first type crystals) or minima (second on photocurrent could correspond lines. By means proper treatment can be converted from one into another vice versa. coincidence considered as consequence participation giving rise photocurrent. Possible mechanisms creating charge carriers discussed. On curve luminescence excitation temperatures, related spectrum also observed. Either coincide
