摘要: BACKGROUND.: Prognostic factors and outcomes in patients with marginal zone lymphoma (MZL) have been studied small cohort studies, which may not reflect the population at large. METHODS.: Clinical characteristics survival of adult MZL who were diagnosed between 1995 2009 evaluated using Surveillance, Epidemiology, End Results (SEER) database. The authors generated clinical prognostic models for subtypes compared during periods through 2000, 2001 2004, 2005 2009. RESULTS.: prognosis was significantly better mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) (5-year relative rate 88.7%; P < .0001) those splenic (SMLZ)or nodal (NMZL) rates 79.7% 76.5%, respectively). There evidence improved NMZL MALT lymphomas (P .0001), no difference noted SMZL = .56). Advancing age presence B symptoms had significance all subtypes. Male sex stage disease significant only categories. Survival varied depending on site origin, a worse gastrointestinal pulmonary locations origin incidence lymphoma-related death, 9.5%-14.3%) ocular, cutaneous, endocrine sites (4.5%-7.8%; .0001). CONCLUSIONS.: is similar to that NMZL, unlike subtypes, it has over past decade. varies according anatomical origin.
