摘要: Abstract 83 hands in 69 patients had endoscopic carpal tunnel release by the Chow method over a 14-month period. 78% of these satisfactory outcome with relief symptoms and no complications. Poor results were explained incomplete ligament division (five patients), wrong diagnosis (two hands), post-operative nerve problems hands). Two after Cones' fractures unsatisfactory results. Serious complications included two median lacerations. One was clearly result deviation from standard protocol. The authors believe that technique has advantages open but they are divided on whether benefits outweigh risk injury.
