摘要: Functional interaction between lymphoid cells and lymphotropic viruses is particularly evident for bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) in cattle its closely related virus, the border disease sheep. The most important aspect of acute or chronic phases BVDV BDV infection was host's increased susceptibility to secondary bacterial infection. To study ability alter development cellular immune responses concomitant inoculation with T cell-dependent cell-independent antigens, lambs were inoculated twice rabbit RBC Escherichia coli lipopolysacharide (LPS) then infected a cytopathic strain at postinoculation day 3. Leukopenia characterized by lymphopenia developed after Increased [3H]thymidine incorporation observed resting lectin-stimulated blood mononuclear first weeks BVDV-infected lambs, but followed decreased second up 8 initial inoculation. In contrast, transient decrease blastogenic responses, associated toxic effect LPS, detected noninfected stimulation responses. Inoculated had good vitro response LPS whereas lymphocytes from could not mount lasting antigens BVDV. Results suggest that modulates respond lectins antigenic stimuli according time infection.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
