摘要: This paper summarizes the recent empirical literature on post-secondary school outcomes of youth with disabilities. Our summary illustrates variation in characteristics and that exist several subpopulations generally defined as Unfortunately, a major limitation this literature, particularly for special education students SSI recipients, is lack information outcomes. Specifically, there were no data collection efforts, at least national level, to track these populations mid late nineties. While upcoming sources, such National Longitudinal Transition Survey2 (NLTS2) Survey Children Families (NSCF), should fill gaps existing knowledge, other initiatives are necessary ensure policy makers continuously have current information.
