摘要: Trans-arterial radiotherapy for liver malignancies began with iodine-131 labeled lipiodol hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). This agent continues to be used, 131I as well other radionuclides that emit β-particles, notably rhenium-188. Particulates such glass and albumin microspheres yttrium-90 have also been utilized, their physical characteristics enabled evaluation of utility in metastatic cancers well, considerable success.
