摘要: A significant change that has occurred in retail markets over the last 20 years been rapid decline of specialist food stores (grocers, butchers, and mongers), as supermarkets lay claim to increasing shares market. Indeed, effect supermarket dominance received considerable research attention, numerous studies have focused specifically on relationship between concentration, prices, profits. This approach provided an understanding behaviour performance industry (e.g., Kinsey 1998; Ailawadi, Borin, Farris 1995) existence market power (Competition Commission 2000). However, there relatively little consideration given likely these changes nature trade seafood goods, terms product forms regulation. The fish is interesting because growth aquaculture production differences exist farmed wild-caught species. In this paper, we take a brief look at how are affecting retail.
