摘要: We investigated key habitat features used by beech martens occupying a fragmented agricultural landscape. Locations of eight were radio-monitored daily for 4-12 months each. evaluated the selection home ranges within geographic area, as well ranges, using random simulations comparison. Home included more wood and scrub vegetation, less arable land, than simulations. They also higher proportion watercourses with continuous vegetation along their verges, closer to these Within farm buildings, intensively expected, land expected. On average, stayed close (where most occurred) but not indicating that only former shaped marten movements. By findings, appeared act seldom traversed barrier, making buildings uneasy reach if they are located far from watercourses.
