摘要: Two‐dimensional numerical simulations of ablatively accelerated thin‐shell fusion targets, susceptible to rupture and failure by Rayleigh–Taylor instability, are presented. The results show that nonlinear effects instability manifested in the dynamics ’’bubble’’ (head fluid perturbation) rather than spike (tail perturbation). role multiwavelength perturbations on shell is clarified, rules presented predict dominant mode‐mode interactions which limit performance. It also shown essential strongly driven flows governed classical an ideal, incompressible, thin layer.
