摘要: Characteristics of mean droplet size spray produced by spinning disk atomizers were experimentally investigated. The phase-doppler particle analyzer (PDPA) was used to measure the water in downstream distance along trajectory. Effects various operating conditions on diameter had been studied. studied variables were: rotational speed range 838 1677 rad/s (8,000–16,000 rpm), liquid flow rate 0.56 2.8 × 10−6 m3 /s (2–10 L/h), 0.04 0.12 m, and tangential trajectory up 0. 24 m. Sauter (d32 ) represent generated sizes. results indicated that can be correlated with dimensionless groups, such as Reynolds number, Weber coefficient, ratio diameter. Based this correlation, it found increases distance, increase. Similarly, a decrease an increase ). A comparison between developed correlation correlations obtained other researchers has presented discussed detail.
