摘要: In recent years, the technology for automotive coating application has evolved from manual art to robotic science. However, despite radical change in technology, principles of spray remain unchanged. This chapter reviews major advances and develops several important concepts that are foundational process engineers. Beginning with practical paint application, attention is given importance fan pattern overlap obtaining a smooth uniform film. Then through derivation equation, improved comprehension factors related deposited film thickness can be gained. Practical followed by more technical overview characteristics atomization pneumatic guns high-speed rotary bells. Equations each provide insight associated atomizer variables. At end, brief introduction electrostatic deposition also given.
