摘要: Hyaluronan is a major component of the extracellular matrix and plays pivotal roles in inflammation cancer. oligomers are frequently found these pathological conditions, which they exert their effects via association with transmembrane receptor CD44. Lipid rafts cholesterol- glycosphingolipid-enriched membrane microdomains that may regulate receptors while serving as platforms for signaling at cell surface. This article focuses on recent discovery lipid interaction between CD44 hyaluronan, depends largely hyaluronan’s size. CD44’s ability to bind hyaluronan T cells, control rolling adhesion lymphocytes vascular endothelial hyaluronan- CD44-mediated cancer migration. The implications findings preventing inflammatory disorders also discussed.
