摘要: Our interest in the role of Haemophilus ducreyi genital ulceration led us to examine various media commonly used for cultivation organism. We describe an improved medium routine isolation H ducreyi. In comparative studies using 50 test strains originally isolated United Kingdom, Canada, States America, and Kenya, new proved superior three standard requiring a shorter incubation period first visible growth, giving larger colonies same period, making possible starch aggregation which we have found helpful presumptive identification from clinical material.
