摘要: It is pretty clear that in Europe there no more room for further reintroduction of non-endangered species, except the few countries where ungulates have not yet reached high numbers, like Greece and Portugal. In general priority now constituted by a proper management rich resource represented almost 20 million rather than their increase (both number distribution). But should remain two priorities , both related to need preserve local genetic identities native ungulate populations with special reference endemic subspecies: • To restore viable (or metapopulations) native, endangered subspecies within range protect them from risk crossbreeding exotic ; amend, as much possible, genetically depleted even common species are living simpatry or introduced stocks different origin.
