Research status and characteristics of library and information science in Taiwan: a bibliometric analysis

摘要: This study determines how library and information science (LIS) research in Taiwan has changed between 2001 2010. The major questions address the status of LIS Taiwan, Taiwanese government supports field, collaborative authorship journal articles Taiwan. Bibliometric content analysis methods were conducted to analyze 2,494 articles, 983 theses, 191 projects results show Technology be most popular topics articles. well-received thesis are User Services, accounting for more than 50 % graduate theses. same is true projects, with subjects Technology, Theory Foundation, Services having a ratio 70 %. In government-sponsored average amount funding obtained had no significant differences or tendencies various over time. individual researchers 66.11 key scholarly journals
