摘要: We investigate the effect of Zn addition on an Al–air battery at anode. The tested consists a 6 mol% potassium hydroxide (KOH) electrolyte, fiberglass separator, and Pt/C + IrO2 cathode. Zn-added Al(Al60Zn40)–air shows higher power density 48 mW/cm2, while pure exhibits 38 mW/cm2. Approximately, 30 charge/discharge cycles were performed, ~ 71 Al60Zn40–air performed. Adding to improves its electrochemical performance number can be significantly increased.
