摘要: We present a thorough inspection of the dynamical behavior epidemic phenomena in populations with complex and heterogeneous connectivity patterns. show that growth prevalence is virtually instantaneous all networks characterized by diverging degree fluctuations, independently structure correlation functions characterizing population network. By means analytical numerical results, we outbreak time evolution follows precise hierarchical dynamics. Once reached most highly connected hubs, infection pervades network progressive cascade across smaller classes. Finally, influence initial conditions relevance statistical results single case studies concerning networks. The emerging theoretical framework appears general interest view recently observed abundance natural topological features might provide useful insights for development adaptive strategies aimed at containment.
