摘要: The absence of integrated decision-making across the agri-food system is arguably single biggest obstacle to global food security and breaking through it perhaps our challenge. To date little research has been done which takes a fully view address this Integrated decision making implies change all parts diverse system, requiring an assessment processes involved from ecology land nutrition health. need, we propose theoretical framework for solutions based upon mapping whole systems, their quantitative analysis on enhanced life cycle assessment, use emergent data catalyse viable commercially attractive innovation free access stakeholders in particular consumers as principle engine change. This conceptualised development building prior research. involves iterative methodology four overlapping steps (Map, Analyse, Visualise Share), namely MAVS cycle. It gives transparent advanced collaborative support ecosystems. We hypothesize that would provide mechanism break down current barriers prevent absolutely necessary security. also theoretically position perspective “four walls” information reside within each organisation, fostering open encourages more democratized sustainability resource efficiency are embedded.
