摘要: The concentrations of taxol and related compounds in the bark needles Taxus cuspidata grown on Mt. Jiri, Sobaek, Cheju Island, T. var. latifolia Ullung Island Korea were determined by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). taxane content significantly varied with location plant part. native yews from Jiri Sobaek was when compared to that reported for Pacific yew (T. brevifolia), whereas trees islands contained a much lower level. Surprisingly, higher level (0.022% 0.0173%, respectively) than those intermountain locations (0.0058% 0.0085%), basis dry weight. also relatively 10-deacetylbaccatin III, 0.0497% 0.0545%, respectively, indicated environmental factors may affect quantity. Taxol confirmed electrospray mass spectrometry. These results suggest foliage growing their natural habitats provide renewable source taxol.
