摘要: Objective Flow-mediated dilatation (FMD) and peripheral artery tonometry (PAT) are commonly used methods for assessing endothelial function in a research setting but it is unclear how well they correlate. This study aimed to compare correlate these patients with arterial disease (PAD) healthy individuals. Materials FMD PAT measurements were obtained as samples of convenience from 26 PAD 25 subjects. was defined the percentage increase brachial diameter after distal occlusion measured using reactive hyperaemia index (RHI). Results Patients had significantly lower than subjects (2.43% vs. 5.80%, p r = 0.284, = 0.160), ( = 0.153, = 0.464) or when both groups combined = 0.174, = 0.22). Conclusion The lack change RHI suggests that not sensitive measure function. correlation interchangeable. should be substitute
