摘要: This paper uses Canadian cross-sectional income and expenditure data to examine changes in the distribution of family consumption during period 1978 1992. Family are analyzed because presence intertemporal smoothing, may characterize lifetime wealth. The author finds that both inequality moved countercyclically. In addition, trended upward over period; however, change was much smaller than inequality, suggesting wealth have changed less is suggested by income.
