摘要: Co-ethnic concentration at the workplace is a specific dimension of ethnic economy. Much literature on economies based studies minority groups in large immigrant-gateway metropolises. Previous have been plagued by “conceptual anarchy” and arbitrariness their empirical operationalization (Logan et al. 1994; Nee 1994). Specific aspects forms are important for developing conceptual clarity gaining further understanding implications (Waters & Eschbach 1995; Logan 2003). Among such aspects, co-ethnic can be precisely measured. The concept provides unique analytical angles to examine causes consequences participating individual level.
