摘要: While the public and governments debate advisability of engaging in shale gas production, United States has proceeded to develop its resources with an accompanying remarkable increase natural production. The development not been without problems, some countries have decided that production should proceed until more is known about health issues environmental damages. From experiences States, careful consideration five critical points relating can form basis for developing strategies reducing discharges pollutants: (1) casing cementing, (2) handling wastewater, (3) venting flaring, (4) equipment air emissions, (5) seismic events. For each strategy, institutional responses markedly reduce risks harm people environment are identified. These offer state local ideas enabling be developed sacrificing quality.
