摘要: Methylene blue (MB′), covalently attached to DNA through a flexible C12 alkyl linker, provides sensitive redox reporter in electrochemistry measurements. Tethered, intercalated MB′ is reduced DNA-mediated charge transport; the incorporation of single base mismatch at position 3, 10, or 14 17-mer causes an attenuation signal 62 ± 3% well-matched DNA, irrespective duplex.
