摘要: Lead is a potentially harmful element that has caused serious environmental pollution during its mining and use along with human health problems. This study assessed lead in Chinese coals based on published literature, particular focus data reported since 2004. The analysis included 9447 individual samples from 103 coalfields or mines 28 provinces China. arithmetic mean content of the studied was 15.0 μg/g. Considering coal reserves, weighted-average concentration calculated to be 19.6 significantly enriched Henan Province Tibet Autonomous Region. Tibet–Western Yunnan southern areas China had elevated concentrations. Sulfides are primary hosts coals, although other include silicates, organic matter, carbonates, minerals. Source rocks sediment-source region marine environments may most significant factors contributing enrichment coals. Hydrothermal fluids peat-forming plants also contribute some
