摘要: Abstract A specially designed hollow cathode type atomizer for laser excited atomic fluorescence spectrometry was investigated. The potentialities of the device were examined by determination lead contents in state reference materials pure copper. Continuous wave (cw) and pulse modes glow discharge studied. formation sputtered atom flux particular geometry theoretically calculated. Based on these calculations, theoretical calibration curves cw constructed. These differed from experimental ones less than a factor five. possible reasons such discrepancy are discussed. limit detection (3σ) 40 ng g obtained. value may be improved 60 optimizing parameters discharge. In addition, new atomizer, planar magnetron investigated limits 3 obtained copper silicon germanium preliminary experiments.
