摘要: Abstract We present a novel field experimental setup that can be used for studying the characteristics of landslide seismicity. The consists concrete, filled with soil, cylinder moves along surficial soil corridor. emitted seismic signals are due to friction. acts as an upscaled sheer-box allowing control over number parameters: magnitude normal stress on failure plane, degree saturation and type soil. This allows simulation friction within, or between, different geological layers under conditions. Results site specific, but easily reproduced any environment. validate this methodology by comparing spectral movement those induced controlled 2.5 m high vertical face at nearby very similar geology. find good agreement between two. investigation tool optimization deployment geometry networks monitoring, well inform machine learning algorithms automatic detection classification recorded during monitoring landslides.
