摘要: Two tetrasiloxane Gemini imidazolium surfactants with methylene spacer groups ([Si4-s-Si4im]Cl2, s = 4, 6) were synthesized and characterized by 1H NMR ESI-MS spectrum. The surface activity thermodynamic properties in aqueous solution among three categories of surfactants, including [Si4-s-Si4im]Cl2, the corresponding monomer ([Si4mim]Cl) hydrocarbon-based surfactant ([C14-4-C14im]Cl2), compared tension electrical conductivity methods. A series parameters, cmc, γ π pc20, Γ max A min, adsorption isotherms obtained from plots. results indicated that longer group has higher capacity to form micelles but lower efficiency reduce tension. Besides, cmc value [Si4-s-Si4im]Cl2 was about one order magnitude than [Si4mim]Cl. tetrasiloxane-based have low surfactant. are similar those conventional surfactants. parameters micellization process, namely, standard Gibbs free energy (ΔG m θ), enthalpy (ΔH θ) entropy (ΔS originated measurements at five different temperatures, suggested [C14-4-C14im]Cl2 is entropy-driven process whereas aggregation [Si4mim]Cl enthalpy-driven whole investigated temperatures. dynamic light scattering indicate size [Si4-4-Si4im]Cl2 (113.6 nm) larger [Si4-6-Si4im]Cl2 (101.7 nm).
