摘要: Many of the devastating pandemics and outbreaks 20th 21st centuries have involved enveloped viruses, including influenza, HIV, SARS, MERS, Ebola. However, little is known about presence fate viruses in municipal wastewater. Here, we compared survival partitioning behavior two model (MHV ϕ6) nonenveloped bacteriophages (MS2 T3) raw wastewater samples. We showed that MHV ϕ6 remained infective on time scale days. Up to 26% adsorbed solid fraction 6% viruses. Based this behavior, assessed optimized methods for recovering from Our ultrafiltration method resulted mean recoveries (±SD) 25.1% (±3.6%) 18.2% (±9.5%) ϕ6, respectively, 55.6% (±16.7%) 85.5% (±24.5%) MS2 T3, respectively.
