摘要: The angular distribution of fragment ions from O2 following a selective K-shell excitation has been measured using rotatable time-of-flight mass spectrometer. asymmetry parameter characterising this was found to be close -1 at 531 eV ( pi * resonance). about 1.2 541 (1s 3p excitation), indicating that the transition sigma resonance occurs probability significantly higher than orbital.
