摘要: Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate if the metabolic alterations observed after static magnetic field (SMF) exposure participates in development a pre-diabetic state. A comparison using insulin resistant animal model, Zucker rat and SMF-exposed Wistar carried out. Materials methods: rats were compared either exposed 128 mT or 0 SMF (sham exposed) analysed. This moderate-intensity performed for 1 h/day during 15 consecutive days. Results: showed increased levels carbohydrate lipid metabolites (i.e., lactate, glycerol, cholesterol phospholipids) sham-exposed rats. displayed normoglycemia associated with high level as opposed which presented hyperglycemia hypoinsulinemia SMF. During glucose tolerance test, unexposed exhibited significantly higher suggesting an impairment clearance. In muscle, glycogen content lower phospholipids elevated both sham control. Conclusions: provides evidence that following moderate intensity could trigger
