Theoretical analysis of a self-sustained discharge pumped XeCl laser

摘要: Theoretical analysis of the discharge characteristics and output performance a self‐sustained XeCl laser is described. Validity theoretical model including excitation circuitry confirmed by comparing results with measured under lasing conditions. The dischare parameters such as E/P (E electrical field strength P operating pressure) resistivity are theoretically studied for both Ne‐ He‐based gas mixtures. Our shows that electron energy distribution functions these two mixtures become quite equal at each quasi‐steady‐state E/P, improved Ne‐based not due to difference function but good optical extraction caused faster ion‐ion recombination excimer formation channel.
