摘要: The attraction of leukocytes into tissues is essential for inflammation and host response to infection. This process controlled by chemotactic cytokines known as chemokines. monocyte chemoattractant proteins (MCP) are an important subfamily chemokines that share structural well functional features. By activating various G-protein-coupled chemokine receptors, the MCPs induce recruitment activation multiple subsets leukocytes, including monocytes macrophages, effector CD4+ CD8+ T cells, B dendritic basophils, mast natural killer eosinophils. Increased expression MCP has been detected in a variety respiratory diseases involving these lung, both inflammatory such asthma, which leukocyte participates disease pathogenesis, infectious tuberculosis, immune responses. Functional roles have demonstrated several rodent models diseases, severity can be modulated inhibition signaling. their receptors therefore attractive targets rational development drugs will therapeutic potential diseases.
