摘要: Abstract To further define the role of mast cells in idiopathic inflammatory bowel diseases, mediator release from intestinal derived actively inflamed and relatively quiescent areas ulcerative colitis was studied. It hypothesized that diseased segments would indicate involvement disease process by releasing a different profile mediators than uninflamed tissue. Mast cell-containing suspensions matched 12 specimens were compared for responsiveness to cell stimulus goat anti-human immunoglobulin E.
