摘要: Objectives Congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) is a birth defect affecting the respiratory functions, functional performance, and quality of life (QOL) in school-aged children. Rarely have studies been conducted to evaluate impacts muscle training on children with postoperative CDH. The current study was designed function, maximal exercise capacity, QOL these Methods This randomized control study. 40 CDH (age: 9-11 years) were assigned randomly into two groups. first group an incentive spirometer combined inspiratory (study group, n = 20), whereas second only (control thrice weekly for twelve consecutive weeks. Respiratory pediatric inventory (PedsQL) assessed before after treatment program. Results. Regarding posttreatment analysis, showed significant improvements all outcome measures (FVC%, p 0.05). Conclusion may improve capacities, Clinical commendations be considered include pulmonary rehabilitation programs history
