摘要: Apathy is a prevalent and problematic neuropsychiatric symptom in those with dementia that emerging as treatment target, necessitating accurate assessment. While many apathy scales are available, not all have been developed for use exclusively dementia, psychometric properties may vary across different populations. This systematic review aimed to provide an overview of the used Alzheimer's disease (AD) related dementias, well rate methodological quality supporting studies. In addition, identified, performance clinical trials was reviewed. A search conducted through Medline, Psychinfo, Embase, Cochrane Central Register Controlled Trials, Database Systematic Reviews. Articles reported scale AD or mixed population were included. Of 15 articles, ratings studies ranged from adequate excellent. Three two pooled analyses included evaluated this review. emerged. The Neuropsychiatric Inventory subscale (NPI-apathy) Evaluation Scale (AES) had greatest number evaluating also shown sensitivity change. Dementia Interview Rating demonstrated excellent values internal consistency, validity, reliability population. Future research should address comparative assess ability distinguish subtypes apathy. Validation include evaluation against specific imaging defined deficits.
