摘要: In this article, the authors review patterns of disturbance and succession in natural forests Coastal Northwest compare structure composition across an age gradient unmanaged stands. Stand landscape managed are then examined compared with those forests. They draw on results to offer guidance management that dedicated both wood production conservation biodiversity. Finally, suggest lessons learned from here may be useful other biomes, where rare standards for designing seminatural not available.
