摘要: The load capacity of a plain journal bearing is calculated using newly derived analytical models for the density and viscosity aerated oil. results show that oil aeration can double bearings. This due to doubling effective caused by surface tension entrained air bubbles. compressibility found have little effect on capacity. Physical explanations these are offered.
