摘要: Abstract The influence of aerated oil on high-speed journal bearings is examined by classical thermohydrodynamic lubrication theory coupled with analytical models for viscosity and density the air–oil mixture in fluid-film bearing. Convection to walls, mixing supply recirculating oil, some degree misalignment are considered. parameters considered study bubbly aeration level, air bubble size, shaft speed. results show that bubbles can more clearly bring increasing load capacity under operation a plain bearing than previous normal speed operation. Moreover, may be increased conditions
