摘要: Approximately 30–50 % of hospitalized patients worldwide suffer from malnutrition, making the importance maintaining adequate nutritional support crucial to critically ill patients. Achieving an level revolves around counteracting hypermetabolic effects injury or illness by reducing severity malnutrition and preventing complications such as overfeeding. Early recognition, prevention, appropriate initiation supplemental nutrition will aid in optimizing status. Patients able reach maintain optimal status benefit faster recovery, improved wound healing, increase rehabilitative efforts. Likewise, a decrease hospital length stay, complication rates, morbidity, mortality occur.
