摘要: Advances in imaging have provided further insights into the complex migraine pathophysiology. Functional neuroimaging by means of PET and functional MRI studies addressed crucial migraine-related issues, improving our understanding circuitry that may be involved generation, maintenance recurrence pain symptoms migraine. In last few years, a growing body literature has also explored pathophysiology associated symptoms. Of great interest will use advanced techniques to elucidate neural correlates prodromal, order identify clinical subgroups migrainous subjects. However, interpretation biological significance these various changes could remain incomplete without combination expanding genomic information about neurochemical pathways genetic polymorphisms linked specific subtypes. Hopefully, more detailed picture neurobiology emerge from future studies, which eventually lead better rational treatments.
