摘要: Abstract We investigate and discuss two aspects that are of importance for II–VI lasers, namely the dynamics excitons high excitation processes capable to show optical gain. In first case we concentrate on CdTe/ZnTe quantum wells, which exhibit an especially pronounced inhomogeneous broadening due disorder. relaxation under emission acoustic phonons. For second topic start with bulk compounds proceed thin layers, heterostructures showing excitonic effects more important laser materials as compared established III–V (infra)red, dominated by electron-hole plasma.
