摘要: Numerous studies over the past few years have documented an non-linear relationship between blood pressure and cardiovascular events (i.e., a J-shaped curve), especially in patients with known coronary artery disease. In most of these though J-curve was seen, there shallow part for systolic range 110–140 mm Hg diastolic pressures 70–90 Hg, below above which risk outcomes increased exponentially. Although this has been extensively debated, possibility confounders cannot be completely ruled out. This can only addressed randomized trial powered to test association. Regardless whether exists within physiological BP, is no evidence date suggest that aggressive BP control lower than 130–140 beneficial (except stroke) but associated increase serious adverse effects including hypotension. It would prudent, though, healthcare providers set targets judiciously select patient populations considering underlying pathophysiology individual cerebrovascular
